Local Fort Myers fineartist, Daniel Venditti, invites all to attend his upcoming art gallery groupshow opening in July where he will be revealing his newest series entitled “TheNature of Things”, a collection of large works based on written prose about thecycle of life that incorporates woodcuts and paint on canvas.
This opening event takes place during Art Walk on Friday, July 6thfrom 6pm to 9pm at the Sidney Berne Davis Art Center in historic downtown FortMyers located at 2301 First Street. Daniel isshowing this latest collection along with fellow Fort Myers artist, Lyle Bowen,whose series of paintings entitled the “Botanical Puzzle Series” is a combinationof colorful botanicals and whimsical imagery that is sure to please the eye.
During the opening night event, from 7 p.m. to approximately 8 p.m.,Daniel will be creating live drawings of a group of talented ballet students whowill be in a series of “dance” poses. All the drawings will be for sale and allproceeds (50/50) will benefit the Sidney Berne Davis Art Center and DanceBochette. The dance student volunteers come from well-respected dance studio,Dance Bochette established in 1951 and owned and operated by Director, JeanneBochette and her daughter and Co-Director, Alyce Bochette. Musicalaccompaniment presented by Emmy Award-winning and Grammy-nominated composer andflutist, Kat Epple, who, in addition to jazz flute, performs on indigenous flutes she has collected during extensivetravels to exotic locales around the globe.
