The sultry voice of Beth Marshall echoed in the room as she belted out “Piano Man,” “Georgia” and other beautiful ballads that you just don’t hear every day.  Beth Marshall appears to be shy but when she is behind the keyboard or on her guitar she seems to own the stage in that moment. On occasion during her performance she would share a laugh with her audience or have a brief parley, perhaps something simple about the song she is about to sing. The audienceseems to love that connection and would share in the laughter or nod in agreement.

Beth has been singing a long time; since she was around 14 years old.  Her songs tell a story- a story that she says needs to be birthed.  Beth tells stories about life, love and all that relates to the human experience.  Some songs are sad and some are happy, which is just the way life is.

Either way when you hear Beth sing, you hear the truth and you can simply connect with the experiences she sings of.  Beth has an appreciation for the old time songs whether classical ballads and hymns.   She has a nostalgic way of bringing the words in song, giving you that warm feeling of the best times you ever had in your life;  perhaps during youth when you were climbing that oak tree in the back of your yard.

Beth is multi-talented.  In addition to singing; Beth makes fine jewelry such as necklaces, earrings and bracelets. To learn more about Beth Marshall, visit her website at www.bethmarshall.com.
