All about boats; speed and fun! Being at the “2010 Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix” is a great way to warm up those sea legs of yours. It is an annual event sponsored by these notable companies FCCI, Bud Light, Hyatt Regency, Van Wezel, BJ’s, Pepsi to name a few. They provide the entertainment and entry, you just bring family and friends. As this is a free event for everyone, and the vendors are ready to serve the many varieties of food for your pallet.
You will get to meet the many drivers and owners of these beautifully painted craft like Dave “Salty” Betts, Steve “Hammer” Hoffman of Muscle Racing and Robert Noble of Bobkat Racing and others.
These are craft that reach speeds in excess of 100 MPH! All along a course by Lido Key Beach. There are several heats that will be run, not counting any delays as everyone’s main goal is “safety first”. It is such an awesome event to see and your kids will like it just a little more than you.
So bring your beach blanket, sun block and chair and enjoy the Grand Prix racing that brings so many to this event; time and time again!

Two Evening events were held in Sarasota at the Hyatt Regency Sponsored by GTE and the other was a outdoor Music event sponsored by Muscle Racing, both with live bands like Lillian Axe, D15 and others. Everyone came out for fun, music, food and to support their teams, some were their because it was so much fun!
